There are times my friends when I am wrong and I am not afraid to say it. Mr Lee and I have been having a spirited conversation about Dallas’s letter. Now aside from accusation thrown at both sides. He did bring up a point that I had to agree with him

I never asked him for a rebuttal. which to tell you the truth, isn’t fair. so he asked me to post the following. to which I agree.

Last weekend I printed a letter from Dallas which was basically an attack on Ed Lee and Nu-West for something he wrote about Dallas in his newsletter. I printed the letter from Dallas without first contacting Mr. Lee to get his side of the story. I realize now this was not sound stewardship of a spanking blog.

I personally apologize to Ed Lee and resolve that I will never again become involved in an altercation between people who make a living producing material for those in the scene.

I think that is fair statement. Let me make this quite clear, I don’t care about the litigation he threatened it was baseless and quite defensible. But he did have a point from a decency point of view. and for that I think I do owe him an apology.

Now will I stop reporting the news, No
Will I post controversial letters? Absolutely

Dallas was pretty out of line with his “freak out”, ultra defensive letter. he has done this before, on the Spanking facts and Research Forums. he needs to learn to chill.

And if Ed Lee threatened litigation, well he needs to get over himself.

Sound slike we have a issue here with two grown men who should definatly know better.

The only thing that is silly,

And that alone keeps me from Dallas’ site and work. It’s very good work, with very good quality, but the character of the man ruins all of that for me.

This is very bad form all over. No one should be intimidated by either of these Burks. Having seen both Aunties and Brushstrokes retractions and apologies one gets the sense that both of these individuals need to get out of their ivory towers and get a grip.

Underlying this is the sense that neither gentleman is a gentleman. Both in their reactions, have demonstrated a lack of responsibility, in both words and deeds (visible and under the hood, litigation my arse). And one would hope that the outcome for both businesses is a lack of custom in future, a loss willing models and in short order a relegation to history.

Whilst the ladies of the scene (directly or as journalists) are trying to promote themselves and their kink in a positive open and honest manner, we find that the fearful egotistical males are doing their level best to show the world that we are indeed a threat to sexual society when we allow them into our space.

This business needs belligerent bullies like a fish needs a bicycle. In closing, we have seen nothing of Mr Lees comment or retort, however some of us are well aware that Mr Lee has taken and threatened punitive action and can share in the shame equally.

This pissing contest is over, you both loose.
