This will probably come as no surprise to you Dear Reader but Your Humble Narrator seriously dislikes people. More specifically I dislike stupid people which George Carlin famously described the magnitude of the problem with “think how stupid the average person is, and realize that half of them are dumber than that”. This is perhaps why I choose to sequester myself in my forest cottage avoiding the dumber people of the world. Which at least some of apparently live in Roanoke, VA.
I happen to come across this article which is about our own Harmony Rose. It seems that she is done with the adult business and has decided to spend her time volunteering as a EMT in training. Being this is America, some idiots seem to have an issue with this, since after all she was once {OMG} a pornographic actress.
It seems that the local television station invited viewers to Google her engaging in such vile acts that apparently disqualifies her from risking life and limb to help people, since…. you know….. Well, I am not sure what this issue is.
Its not like she is even employed by the town, she is as they point out a GODDAMNED VOLUNTEER! But some how her previous life disqualifies her from helping her fellow man. Now I could indeed understand the outrage if Jerry Sandusky volunteered at a youth outreach center. But somehow I doubt Dear Harmony would mistake 69 with mouth to mouth resuscitation.
Sometimes however such stupidity restores my faith in humanity. It seems the good people of Roanoke seem to have less of a problem with this as the Christian Crazies or the sensational media that reported it. Despite the assertions of the local County Attorney that other younger 16 or 17 year old trainee’s might {gasp} recognize an adult actress? Grow the fuck up!
Of course there is indeed one risk her being a VOLUNTEER, EMT. I do indeed not doubt should I have a heart attack being revived by a smoking hot girl performing mouth to mouth on me would surely put me back in cardiac arrest. Now Dear Reader let us go out and see what the rest of the spanking internet is saying. I have worked with Harmony many, many times and consider her a friend. She is incredibly sweet, kind, caring, friendly… I could go on. I would hold her up as an outstanding human being against anyone who is calling for her dismissal as a volunteer. There is nothing illegal about porn and as someone who has worked with many law enforcement agents, lawyers and bankers, I find porn stars to have much better ethics and care a great deal more about others.
