Between the reports of missing white women and small boys floating away in balloons Dear Reader I noticed a small tidbit that a senator from my beloved state is calling for “restrictions” on purchasing peroxide because they “might” be used to make a bomb. Now as someone who has a rather stubborn cold and gets rather irritated at the notion of having to producing id and sign documents to get a box of Sudafed because some shitkicker from Nebraska “might” make Meth out of it I would really like it if the government would stop trying to save us from ourselves.
Soon the war on our household items will be in full swing. What else could possibly used to make a bomb? OMG hurry ban the purchase of nails! Soon of course this will extend to anything that might harm anyone which seems to be the case for my Dear Readers across the pond as I read a amusing piece on how one person was forced to produce ID to purchase spoons. But sooner or later Dear Reader they will come for our spanking implements. It will not surprise me if one day SWAT shows up on Dallas’s doorstep to relieve him of his beloved paddles.
