Spanking Spot Site Review: Bars and Stripes

Intro
The tough part about site reviews is remaining objective. There are so many flavors of CP out there and such a diversity of tastes what may appeal to me may not appeal to any of you reading this and visa versa. The real hard thing is reviewing sites while personally may not be my taste however are brilliant in execution and content. There is a HUGE difference between Bad Sites and sites that simply don’t appeal to my particular brand of fetish. Its kind of like a musician, like Prince. The man is Brilliant, I recognize that. I just hate his music!

Bars and Stripes is a site that falls into the above category. Brilliantly executed and one of the most creative spanking sites on the web. It has a High quality content and fleshed out story line that quite honestly is so professional I would encourage whomever executed the concept start consider going mainstream. (I think it was Leia). The story line is that good.

Bars and Stripes revolves around the goings on inside a woman’s reformatory. The site is about a year old with an impressive amount of content for its age. Its run by Leia-Ann Woods and her partner “The Governor”. Leia is of course a staple in the Spanking Industry and an impeccable reputation so I would imagine this site is here to stay.

Site offerings and cost.
Bars and Stripes story line is one of the most detailed I have ever seen. It consists of multiple interweaving stories revolving around the central prison theme. Every girl on the site has a detailed background including a Bio, Sentence and a detailed account of the infraction that landed them in such in unfortunate place. Ms Woods also keeps a Diary to keep the story rolling. Between the large amount of video and picture content that appears on the site.

Monthly cost is $29.95, which drops to a little under $21 dollars per month on a six-month membership. Beware though, the 6-month membership is quite a chunk ($124.95). I would have liked to see a bit more of a discount for shelling out that kind of money.

The movies alone total almost 2 gigs which is quite impressive for the age of the site. As of this writing they have 98 video clips which run about 5 minutes apiece each one part of a longer movie. This leaves you with 8 full hours of premium spanking content. At even the highest cost your talking $3.78 PER HOUR! Which in my opinion is quite fair since the quality of the video’s are fantastic and there are loads of pictures to choose from.

Updates appear to run 3 to 4 times a week. In some cases almost daily which would make it the most updated site I have seen to date. The updates interchange between video and pictures. In the full month of September I counted 11 video clips released. Which would make it roughly $2.50 a clip for brand new content and the full monthly cost. Payment is handled though Vertel and Notch=x. Customer service looks like the best I have seen yet (I’ll get to why later).

All of the movies are in downloadable format in wmv format, There does not appear to be any drm. Also they offer download in zip files though I am not sure how much time they save you.

The Girls
The site has a great mix of girls. First, we have the more well known names in Spanking, Brown haired Beauty Leia-Ann Woods, Doe-eyed Nikki Flynn, and the precious Adele Haze. This cast is rounded out with Girls

I am not all that familiar with (though they may be big in on the English Scene, I am by far not the repository of information that David Pierson is). These girls range from Gorgeous to quite nice looking. None of them are hard on the eyes. Note to readers! Do not try to judge any of these girls by their mugshot! They do not do these girls justice!!! (this was intentional I believe, adds quite nicely to the reality of the story.)

Scenes, Outfits and Film Quality.
Due to the nature of a woman’s Reformatory the outfits are somewhat limited though the site corrects (brilliantly might I add) this with the scenes where the woman are first brought to the prison. Adele Haze being spanked in the little Bo-peep outfit is worth the price of admission alone. Note any uniform lovers out there, The prison uniform is comprised of Short red jumpers, white sox and black panties.

The Film quality is not High Res but quite good none the less. It scales to full screen without the loss of much quality.

One of the things I quite like about the site is that the scenes all contribute one way or another to advancing the story of what’s going on inside the prison. Normally I don’t think much of spanking movies with plots however this site gets it right and for that they should be commended.

The spankings are quite hard with a nice mix of Caning, Paddling and handspanking. OTK lovers note! There are not a lot of OTK scenes.

One of the other things that impressed me about this site, They are quite interactive. They encourage suggestions. You can email the governess and you can write to the inmates (the models). This all adds up to a site that values its customers and exudes great customer service.

Now you might say “Brush, Hot girls getting spanked hard in cute uniforms, excellent production values and a great story line. What’s not to like!!!”. Well let me make this quite clear. This is NOT a bad site. In fact if the content was more in line with what I like I would have to say it would be one of the best sites out there. If what I describe in this review appeals to you then by all means join I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. I however am not a huge fan of the Prison theme. Mainly since OTK is not a big theme in prison. (They like to use canes). Second, there are a few Lesbian scenes here and I for whatever reason lesbians do not turn me on (I know, I know, weird). As I said before this is simply a matter of what I like, this is not a reflection of the site at all.
