Yes Dear Reader it is indeed one of the most coveted awards a spanker can indeed recieve and I know you are all waiting with baited breath to vote for the hardest hand of 2009.  These are the gentlemen at the top of their craft which even the numbest bottoms shiver in their boots when they learn they are going to be spanked by these gentlemen. 

The Red Buttocks Award is aptly named for these guys work.  many of these spankers have been known to reduce a girl into tears after just a few firmly places whacks to the rear end and to tell you the truth 2009 is indeed no different.  But this year of course is different for you Dear Reader get to select them under the watchful eye of your Humble Narrator.

(I of course see those) and should you not find your favorite iron handed Authoritarian here then I might remind you you should have nominated them!  Also there is one that might be a bit of a surprise since he retired more than a year ago.  But remember the rules state that the scene must be RELASED in 2009 thus it is still eligible.

I have a rather embarrassing confession to make Dear Reader.  Being the product of, Your humble narrator indeed loved the 80’s.  As a young spanko I can remember lying awake at night imagining spanking girls with big hair and leg warmers,  the likes of Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and yes even all the girls from Go-Go’s.  And while Your Humble Narrator tried to walk like an Egyptian and loved the 278 versions of  Flock of Seagulls “I run with you”, I have indeed moved on.

But happy news Dear Readers,  I was reading an article that Big Hair is indeed back in vogue this year.  And while Yours Truly never actually had a mullet when he did have hair, I did have a bouffant, and rather multicolored at that.  So I indeed look forward to the resurgence of my childhood but this time quite able to spank the ladies  with the ridiculously large shoulder pads.

So while we are waiting for the 80’s to come back,  why not enjoy the spanking updates of the week!

The one thing I enjoyed about the 80’s is that it was before America’s immaturity concerning alcohol started.  Sure there were still drinking ages but it was a time before MADD screamed OMG if your child drinks a beer it will KILL them.  In fact while drinking is an excellent excuse to spank a female,  I would indeed argue otherwise.  You see when your young Humble Narrator ventured out into the world in college I had been drinking since the tender age of 13.  And though my friends I learned how to handle the devils drink.  Somehow I ended attending a school with many who attended catholic school and had never really imbibed before.  Which left your drunken brushstrokes in a odd predicament since I suddenly was the responsible one.  I cannot tell you how many I ended up rushing to the hospital to recover from alcohol poisoning.  And though I managed to get a date with a rather pretty (and incidentally naughty) nurse after my fifth or sixth visit with a vomiting friend It would be much better if these kids learned how to handle their alcohol prior to moving away from mumsy and daddy. Scarves were a mainstay in the 80’s Dear Reader.  Though they were usually not worn around the eyes like this girl here at Rough Man Spank. People wore scarves throughout the year.  I had a friend who regularly used to get tangled up in all of the damn things she draped across herself.  Come to think of it she also very much needed a spanking.

Our hero Tom “seems” to be back at Girls Boarding School,  This week giving a good caning to Maggie.  Now indeed Dear Reader I have no idea if he is simply visiting from that wonderful island devoid of naughty girls.  Perhaps the doctors much like House in that horrid season premiere has given him a recommendation to start practicing spanking again! 

One class detested by all high schoolers 80’s or not is gym.  I have been convinced over the years that the teachers were indeed Sadists.  Aside from wanting one to go outside in all sorts of weather they came up with this rather dastardly version of dodge ball which they called black line.  Played in a dual basketball court with hundreds of children on each side and at least 20 balls in play.  It played much like the typical dodge ball with mid court being the line that one could not cross.  At least until the teacher yelled black line.  At this point the foul lines of each side became the termination point and the entire area between became no mans land.  Blood, sweat and tears were sprayed everywhere as the ball’s came in contact at point blank range with our faces.  Hell a spanking would be more kind like these girls get at Pure Spanking!  Children were carried off the field of carnage by the nurse staff while the teachers laughed manically.

Now that the Summer has come to an end,  the throngs of college interns have gone back to school (thankfully).  And while this is certainly not a new phenomenon,  I was indeed dismayed to hear that for perhaps 90% of them this indeed was their first summer job!  Now I am indeed not sure about you Dear Reader, but Yours Truly had his first job at 11 and worked ever summer (and most of the time though the school year) until of course I entered the work force.  Now perhaps I am indeed an extreme case,  but it would not completely unreasonable to expect a high schooler to work during the summers.  Which begs the question what were these kids doing for 4 summers before they entered college?  Well Amber Pixie Wells comes to our rescue with the solution to this riddle.  Hanging out at the mall of course, which seems to me a bit self defeating if they don’t have any money.  Well for Pixie, her mall excursions instead of job seeking earns her a bare bottom spanking from David Pierson on Punished Brats.

I am pleased to tell you Dear Reader that the conservatives in the US have made great strides since they were so unceremoniously kicked out of office last October.  In the past two weeks we have had two prominent Republicans announce they were cheating on their wives with of  other women!  If this was last year Dear Reader they would have likely been caught cheating with  Dominican pool boys with pockets full of cocaine.  Who says the Republican brand is finished!
