Well Dear Reader the time is again upon us for the years Spanking Awards. This year as you know we are going to do something a little different. Instead of you nominating and me Picking them. You yes YOU Dear Reader will decide who the Golden Buttocks Awards go to. This is the moment all the hard working site owners out there have been working for and they anxiously await your vote!
Now a couple of things before we begin. For starters we will not be awarding anything for the best new spanking site of the year. Since there really wasn’t any. Second, I failed in my attempt to find a voting package that would not show you the votes. But they must be kept secret! So I did manage to figure out how to mess up the number of votes it shows you. So what you see IS NOT the true poll only of course I see that and the results will of course be announced after Christmas.
So lets get on with it shall we. This year we have a number of deserving sites for the title of Most Improved Spanking Website (blogs of course have their own category) The websites were selected by your nominations Dear Reader so I don’t want to hear complaints the site so and so isn’t in there.

Good news Dear Reader, Yet another attempt to control what you and Your Humble Narrator choose to read has finally after 10 years has finally been put to rest. COPA or The Child Online Protection Act passed by a majority of old white guys from the south whom had never used the internet and ironically signed into law by our last Democratic President has been officially declared dead despite our right wing fanatics terrified of the naked body. For those unfamiliar of this egregious attack on free speech in 1998 our congress felt it was necessary to “protect our children” from the evils of SEX! This law made it illegal to display material “harmful to minors” for commercial uses. Now honestly Dear Reader this seems quite reasonable at face value. I for one would not want my spawn to stumble across many of the sites that I show you here. (Though it will make a interesting discussion about the birds and the bees later on). However under this silly law “commercial use” is defined as pretty much anything on the internet that might have a dirty picture or something the government doesn’t like on it. That Dear Reader is quite dangerous. In the interest of my foreign readers I must explain to you the typical American mindset. You see while we have little or no problem having our young teen kill throngs of Aliens, Nazi’s, Bad Guys, and civilians in both video games and movies we cringe in horror at the thought that our teenager just might be interested in seeing people doing the nasty. Well Dear Reader my hats off to the Supreme court that has once again rejected the silly attempt at the Christian domination of this country. Now for some smut! While this solution might appear to give one the best of both worlds it does risk annoying the customer, and while a large well known site might be able to get away with it, I am not sure that Redneck Spanking can.
