Ok Dear Readers its time to get in the Wayback Machine because we are going for a hell of a ride. The Year was 1999 As you recall the world was about to end not because of swine flu but because Y2K, Republicans were obsessed with a sperm stain on a woman’s dress and perhaps the most deserving woman in the world for a spanking, Amy Fisher got out of prison. Yes Dear Reader the world was a different place. Many of us weren’t even on the internet. Yet spanking was alive and well, it was just a little inaccessible in the form of a few magazines in the back of a dimly lit dirty bookshop. This is the world that the Venerable Kane Magazine was born into. I think your Humble Narrator first learned of this magazine and its world class photo shoots back in the Usenet days where we waited 20 minutes with abated breath to download one high res picture. These indeed were the days where Wulfram was the king of the picture post and where Your Humble Narrator realized there were indeed others like him.
Now I know I will be corrected on the date of this wonderful magazine but unfortunately I couldn’t pin down the original publish date. But that is indeed irrelevant Dear Reader for Kane Magazine is alive and well both
on the internet and print. They are indeed on their 104th punishment periodical of pretty pugnacious brats. But for those of us that prefer cyberspace they also have a website, and today Dear Reader we shall explore.
Site offerings and Cost
Kane Magazine as you might imagine mirrors its magazine sister. It is a combination of Spanking Pictures, Stories and one thing that Magazines cannot provide Movies! As I stated in the beginning I couldn’t quite pin down when their publication started but I do know it was sometime in the 90’s. I came up with 1999 looking at their copyright images and counting back monthly from their 104th publication. Regardless you have a Spanking brand that has been around for at least 10 years! That Dear Reader is staying power. Be assured Dear Reader that they didn’t survive this long by pissing off their customers.
To start off Costs are quite reasonable, but (there is always a but) you will see the reason for this later on in the review. So I guess the price is fair deal at $24.95 for a one month subscription. Unfortunately there is no statement on the site on whether it is a stand alone subscription or a recurring monthly one. If it is indeed a standalone then I guess its ok. If it is indeed a recurring subscription then they should without a doubt state it clearly. While it is not posted I think its a standalone since there is no other option to join. Thus brings me to the other minus. No discount for a longer term subscription which quite honestly is simply good business. But then again they don’t offer any other subscription other then the one month sub. Not a huge deal but any spanking site competing on the web these days really needs to offer at least a couple of choices of subscription length. 
Thus this brings me to the content. At the time of this writing I counted 10 Full length movies (including 2 males spankings) and 10 shorter scenes. The full movies run about 1 hour and 20 minutes each while the “Scenes” run anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. It is unknown at this time how often the updates come out. So Dear Reader all in all you can look forward to almost 14 and 1/2 hours of spanking goodness for your subscription. At the going monthly subscription price that would cost one roughly $1.72 per hour of delightful bottoms spanked. Again not the cheapest spanking deal around but more then respectable.
On top of the movies one can look forward to a tremendous amount of picture material and stories taken from the magazine proper. A boon to collectors out there that yearn for the days of yesteryear (or if you only got into the hobby a few years ago). The biggest draw that Yours Truly believes is the spanking photo shoots of yesteryear where photography was the king. There are some indeed beautiful spankings here and if Spanking photography could possibly be an art form then these are its Rembrandt.
The Girls
In a testament to Kane Magazines spanking prowess they must have filmed with every major UK Spankee of the last 10 years. The list is just way to many to name here but be assured that if you have a UK favorite she has more then likely been spanked here. Just to name a few, Sam Johnson, Amy Hunter, Amelia Jane Rutherford, Leia Ann Woods (my muse), Theresa Mays, Vida Garmen and Mandy Bait. It is indeed a impressive line up Dear Reader but do not of course take my word for it. See for yourself.
Scenes, Outfits, Film Quality, and of Course The Spankings 
Scenes and outfits run the gambit of the UK spanking scene. Lots of schoolgirls, A decent amount of Domestic spanking. A healthy emphasis on M/f spanking but not to the exclusion of F/f Spanking. Liberal use of the cane (of course) and the slipper. Spankings are what you could expect from Kane Magazine, Hard and to the point with the no nonsense flair that the English are famous for.
Film Quality Dear Reader is where I kind of have an issue. Its poor, Not the worst I have seen but seriously not up to snuff for today’s standards. What is more confusing is Kane runs a DVD sales site so they should know that customers appreciate quality in their films. Honestly though the site looks like it is stuck back in the early part of the 2000’s. I would say for their sake that while the internet might make a nice side business for them they should decide if they really want to be in cyberspace and look at the standards for today. Also their movie offerings while respectable are somewhat limited.
So did I like Kane Magazine, ehhhh, well I really wanted to like it. But for Your Humble Narrator I just don’t think its there yet. It seems almost like an afterthought to their Magazine. But don’t get me wrong Dear Reader, its not a bad site nor do I think they are trying to rip anyone off. Despite Its desperate need of a upgrade there is quite a bit of interesting spankings here.
Who will NOT like this Site
If you demand decent film quality Dear Reader then I would stay away from this site. Those new to our favorite activity also should stay away (at least for now). There are other sites that give you better value for your money to start your collection.
Who WILL like this Site
Well for us grizzled veterans of the spanking world I can say you will probably enjoy Kane Magazine. Particularly the pictures. The pictures in this case are indeed some of my favorite spankings on stills. If you have an extensive collection of Spanking Material I can say you probably will be quite happy with what Kane Magazine has to offer to top off those old and rare spankings that you remember so well.

Great piece on one of the classic Uk spank mags. As far as I can remember the mag was first published around the early 1980’s and edited by the late George Harrison-Marks. After his sad death the mag is now edited by his daughter. Issue #102 latest I think.
