Your Humble Narrator has just realized that he has not done a spanking site review in almost 3 months and none for 2009! The horror Dear Reader the horror. So I figured what better way to kick off the site reviews of 2009 with the venerable Real
Spankings. Before I go on, I usually wait until I reviewed the site before including it in my updates of the week. I have been known to violate this rule if its a new site by a known spanking house or as in this case, they have been around forever. Real Spankings Dear Reader has been around forever and for good reason.
Now I have never done reviews on any of Real Spankings sites in the history of The Spanking Spot. There were a couple of reasons for this. First when I started these guys were already well established and known for their quality work. Second they had stopped filming at the time, and I really wanted to see what would happen before recommending them to you Dear Reader. But here we are two and a half years later and I think its about time I review Real Spankings and its wonderful suite of spanking sites.
Site Offerings and Cost
Real Spankings has been quality video content and delivering it across this wonderful set of tubes called the Internet probably before most of us had discovered this ubiquitous tool. Actually remind me Dear Reader to ask David Pierson or some other knowledgeable person who was the first spanking site on the web. If it wasn’t real spanking it surely could have been. Back in the Usenet days where we traded spanking pictures and some rather small and grainy movies Real Spanking was known for their cutting edge video’s and while pictures are indeed not neglected the movies are the main focus.
Real Spanking has lead the way in the spanking world to allow you Dear Reader to sign up the way you want. There has got to be at least a dozen different ways one can sign up. The “typical” way that I
would assume is by credit card. For those of you afraid to use your piece of debt laden plastic there is always online check, money order, Telephone billing, two different credit card processers, not to mention their excellent valued multiple site bundles under Real Spanking Pass. When it comes to giving customers billing options Real Spankings is the king.
Cost at its most basic runs $21.95 which incidentally is one of the cheaper spanking sites on the internet. Now in these times Dear Reader I can sympathize with your desire to get the most out of your entertainment spanking dollar. Well Dear Reader I can tell you right now that simply because the site is cheap doesn’t mean that they don’t produce quality professional content. The discounts that Real Spankings gives you for a longer term membership is no less impressive. At a 90 day subscription you cost drops to a trite 14.65 per month. For ones Vice/Price ratio its pretty damn hard to beat that considering cigarettes will soon top 10 bucks a pack in many areas and as a added bonus watching a good spanking 
won’t kill you with Lung Cancer!
When it comes to value Dear Reader few if any provide you with the amount of quality content that Real Spanking gives their customers. I’ll tell you this, Yours Truly has absolutely no idea how many movies that are there for your enjoyment. Real Spankings is HUGE, and I am not even going to attempt to try to figure out the cost per spanking hour. I would be willing to bet Dear Reader its probably under 10 cents and one of the cheapest spanking sites on the internet today.
The Girls
Being one of the granddaddy spanking sites Real Spanking has launched an impressive number of girls careers in getting their bare bottom spanked. Furthermore considering how hard many of these girls get it its amazing they chose to stay getting spanked. Some of the more notable spankees that have went on to fame and fortune, Kailee Robertson, Teen Jessica, Teen Brandi (one of my all time favorites, Bailey, Sarah, Coach and Ms Burns. That only scratches the surface since over the years these guys have spanked no less than 95 separate women’s bare bottoms multiple times. Hell they even convinced Kailee’s little sister Lilly to come in for a spanking or two (God that was hot!).
I tend to try not to comment on the girls attractiveness since beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. In this case since they typically cater to the kind of spanking model that I enjoy (i.e., young and needs to eat a sammich!) I do have to point out in whole how attractive many of these girls are. But Dear Reader take not my word, see for yourself!
Scenes, Outfits, Film Quality and of Course The Spankings!
Lets start off with Film Quality for this review. Since Real Spanking has so much to offer this little issue won’t really hurt them but its also fair warning to all other sites this year because if you only offer
real media this year Your Humble Narrator will mention it as a negative. Now I know I am going to get a few nasties from various site owners. But I think this year should finally be the end of Real Media. You see Dear Reader RM was the highest quality lowest storage solution back in the day. The only draw back was that the proprietary format generally sucked. Today with almost all the other spanking sites utilizing WMV, MP4 or MPEG its time to play catch-up for those of you still publishing in RM. On the higher settings the RM files choke if they are stored anywhere but your hard drive. You can’t stream them to your television via any tool that I know of or burn it to a DVD to watch in a standard DVD player. Finally and probably the most annoying Real Media tends to want to install all sorts of CPU killing software regardless of how many times one tells it not to. Yes Dear Reader, I happily declare this format now way more trouble than its worth.
Putting the format aside, the Quality is still quite good. The older spankings are understandably in a lower bitrate than the more recent spankings. One of the things I have always liked about Real spankings is that they film two full angles of the spanking. Rather then mix them they simply allow you to download both! Its a nice touch since I tend to enjoy the frontal face angle of the spanking but on occasions I just need to see a bottom jiggling from being struck. That is indeed offered too.
Being as large as Real Spankings is Scenes tend to be either basic domestic or schoolgirl. They do however Cheerleader spankings better than anyone in the business. Outfits tend to run the gambit, Most is either street clothes (soon to be pulled down) a healthy portion of naked spankings or schoolgirls. None of which are groundbreaking but all are quite enjoyable. I can say Real Spanking (like Your Humble Narrator) has a fondness of over and eventually pulled down jean spankings.
The spankings are generally hard. Few if any are of the paddycake type. The now (unfortunately retired) Coach is the hardest spanking of the bunch and it is quite evident on the faces of the girls. Had he not retired when he did I can promise you that he and Dallas would be jockeying for the Hardest Spanker award for many a year. I would also hazard a guess that he was one of the best in hard OTK spankings. There are a few “brutal” type spankings where one wonders how the girl sat down after the violation to her bottom, but for the most part they are just plain hard run of the mill spankings. And that Dear Reader is what makes this site great.
Who will NOT like this site
Other then the film format and the fact that most of these girls have been retired for 2+ years. I think I would be amazed at a spanko that wouldn’t like this site. If you happen to fit that description please let me know so I can avoid whatever you are smoking.
Who will LOVE this site
Quality Spankings, Hot Girls, Hard and painful spanks. what more could one want. Those of you new to this hobby please take note! This is an excellent site to start your little spanking collection. Just leave yourself plenty of time to get though all of their spanking material. Even the new stuff its great, though I would be interested in who will be their new male spanker.

So are these guys producing videos again? What was the period of time they stopped producing? Was it because of the company got sold? I really like there stuff I’ve had a subscription from time to time they always do good stuff.
Thanks for your review, but I think a little more could and should be said about the eventful history of the Realspankings Network (RSN). Jon’s questions as posted above seem to be a good starting point, but there are better experts in this field than me. Only history explains why there are so different sets and styles of spankings within RSN. As one of the undisputed former (and maybe future) leaders of the industry, RSN seems to need more independent attention.
At least, all pictures you posted are from two “old” eras: The one when Lady D was the most famous (and best) spanker, and the later one when Coach and Ms. Burns ruled. The first videos from the “new” era, once again led by Mr M and without the above mentioned three spankers, have been uploaded since some months. I would be interested in your opinion on the first results of the “new” era.
Since you have “absolutely no idea how many movies that are there for your enjoyment”, let’s do the maths according to the (not so hidden) joining page of realspankings.com . There they say that (today) they have “5,327 Spanking Video Files”. Let’s assume each video lasts 3 minutes which means there are about 16,000 Minutes or about 267 hours which can be watched. The 30 day subscription ($ 21.95) leads to the incredible price tag of about 8 cent per spanking hour!
Last remark: You are absolutely right to mention Bailey, Kailee and Jessica as some of the most famous models of RSN. But this should have been honoured by also including Jessica in your photo set.
Please take all this as a positive addition to your review – maybe RSN is simply too big to be covered in the usual style of your reviews.
Excellent review! The Realspanking sites have been my favorites ever since Amy Denison (still in school at the time) used to post regularly in the old ‘Paddled at School’ group on Yahoo. I wish you would have gone more into the early history of the site, specifically on two items:
First, remember when Lady D was a sub? At the time the old school paddling shot of hers came out, I thought they were the best out there.
Second, I’ve always wondered about who I consider to be one of the very first interenet spanking models. She appeared on the RS site, had reddish blond hair, a fantastic bottom, and never showed her face (to my knowledge). I always thought her pics were some of the most evocative and sexy out there and they still hold up today. Did she quietly retire or eventually show herself? I *think* she went by ‘Susan’ back then.

Their spanking content is top notch. But as a corner time aficionado, I was disappointed when several years ago they started finishing scenes with “time out” instead of corner time. They almost never have a naughty girl standing in the corner anymore. Instead they simply have them kneel on the floor, on a chair, etc. In my mind that is not the same thing. Being in the corner is such a different experience.
In addition, with as long as they have been online, I would have thought they would have branched out and tried some new ideas. For example, besides once each for Jessica and Bailey, they have never done a mouth soaping on their site. I’m just saying it wouldn’t hurt to add a little variety to the punishments. Variety is the spice of life after all.

Only thing I like is the girls.
Asides from Mr. M, I’ve always had a problem with all of their tops. They all use strange slapping methods, alternating cheeks all the time and rocking back and forth as they do it. I’ve never liked the way they position the girls across their laps, it’s just too easy to get out of with a fight.
Everything their tops do just doesn’t seem aesthetically pleasing. Seems like you’re always saying, “come on man, stop hitting that outside hip bone, hit that booty already!” “Would you just pull her up on your lap more so her vag isn’t looking at us like an angry bat!” “Why would you just take her top off? Leave it on or take it all off!” They seem to undercut their videos in a number of ways that just leaves you frustrated and wishing you could be there showing them how to do it right.
Moral of the story, when you feel like you want to spank the tops for not spanking right, you’re in the wrong place.
