Aside from sitting on this interview for a month, My one regret is that my membership to Firmhand expired before I could really enjoy our next guest on The Spanking Spotlight. My friends please welcome Abigail Whittaker.

Abigail, Can you tell me the story on how you got into the business and decided to become a Spanking Model?
I had been to various parties such as Crimson Moon and Shadowlane and Florida Moonshine since I turned 18. I had quite a few offers to film but had always turned them down, as I thought there might be consequences with my career and life. I became good friends with Sam Woodley, and had been visiting her once when she was filming. She can be quite convincing, lets just put it that way. And I don’t regret it at all! It’s been an absolute blast.

Had you ever been spanked before?
Oh, hell yes. Started on my 18^th birthday and totally ran with it…I’m practically a seasoned veteran.

Now in your pre-interview you described yourself as a Giant Geek. At least where I come from Geeks (like myself) aren’t nearly as attractive as you. Can you share with us some of your geek like qualities?
Well…I’m absolutely giddy about my everyday job, which is as a type of biologist. If someone were to get me going on it, most likely by asking a simple question, I would talk their ear off, way after their eyes glazed over. I tend to over-answer any questions…it’s sad. My own grandfather went so far as to put his hand over my mouth once in such an episode, can you believe that?!

I understand you’re quite the outdoorsy type and you love to Fish. Got any good fish stories? Or preferably the one that got away and you got spanked for it!
Well…truthfully…I suck at fishing. I could tell you almost anything about most species of piscine creatures, but as far as knowing how the hell to catch them? You know…I don’t really even BELIEVE that there’s an art to it, but people are just lucky. Master anglers, my a**. So….actually a good story actually has to do with spanking and fishing…I went out with a top of mine once, fishing in his boat. Well I lost a fish, it was probably like a tiny sunfish or something….but it just pissed me off because it took the hook from me! So I just threw my hands up in disgust, along with the pole. Into a tree. Waaaay up in a tree. We couldn’t get it down. I swear it was an accident, but my top didn’t think so. One of those sunny-side-up nights for me.

You love to ride motorcycles as well (woman of many talents) what’s your favorite ride?
I used to really be into street bikes…like the Ninja. I got rid of mine a few years ago though and haven’t ridden much since, but I am thinking at the end of the summer of buying one of those Honda nighthawks, or maybe a Rebel.

Ok back to spanking, You work quite a bit for Firm Hand Abigail. Can you tell us a little about what its like on the set?
Hil-ar-ious. Everyone is constantly joking with each other…I don’t even know how we get anything done. I work a lot with Samantha, and usually we’re doing something to get in trouble together, or get sidetracked, so there’s a lot of work on the crew’s part to get us back on track. But it’s a total blast!

Can you share some of your secret tricks you use to get your lovely bottom back into shape after a good bare bottom beating?
There’s secret tricks? I don’t really mark or bruise very easily….but now and then I’ll put a dab of this ancient recipe arnica crap that I bought one time, for way too much money.

Is there anything you do to prepare yourself before a scene?
I eat. We get lots of good food on set. So I take advantage…and I also usually come up with the scenarios, and whatnot, for myself.

Can you tell us the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you on the set?
I told one of the tops in a very awestruck manner that he had “beautiful eyes”. I didn’t mean to say it out loud. He turned a bit red, and it was very awkward. Then I laid over his lap. I think I fell off the couch once too somehow. And I slipped in my giant heels once. I’m a klutz.

Has there ever been a time you had to stop the shooting because of the intensity of the spanking you were giving?
Well, as I take on average 6 spankings a day…the last ones are usually the caning scenes….and I abhor canes. And it hurts. And just the idea of being caned affects me heavily, and so sometimes I need to stop just because it’s getting to me. I find that getting it done and over is easier if it’s being hard to take. And I always know I can stop it, and we can discontinue the scene if its too much. I’ve never even been close to doing that though. I’ve been told I have a “bionic ass”.

Now you told me in the Pre-interview that you were Russian. I don’t normally like to ask this but I am fascinated about spanking in different cultures. Is spanking prevalent growing up in the Russian community?
Hehe…well, I have no idea. I was only there until I was a few months old. I was rarely spanked by my parents, but I do hear stories from my grandparents about how they got and gave it. I’m pretty sure I deserved it, but I got away with murder. Some of my older siblings weren’t as lucky. I’m kinda the cute, younger, unspankable girl of the family I guess!

Do you date non-Spanko’s and if you do how do you go about explaining to them?
Yes, I do. I like to think of myself as a really good corrupter of vanillas. I’ve gotten a few non-spanko boyfriends, and a girlfriend, to become really into it! It’s fun. People can be very open minded with the right persuasion.

Most people in the business say that their interest in spanking started at a very early age. Is this true for you as well?
Oh yeah. My first memory is kinda funny. I was in the airport with my parents at like 3 am once and I was rowdy cuz I’d been sleeping on the plane. I was four I think, or almost. Anyway, my dad tried to settle me down, and I put my hands on my hips and said “What are ya gonna do? Give me a crack on the ass?” I have no idea how I even knew what those words meant at that age. I probably wanted him to.

What is your favorite implement?
Anything domestic. Hand, brush, belt…something that could be just grabbed and used. I’m not a fan of all the preplanned, stiff collared spankings.

What is your least favorite implement?
That’s a tie between the cane and board. They both seem more brutalizing than correctional. And there’s the fact that there’s no bodily contact, since you can’t really use either over the knee.

What is your favorite spanking position and least if you have one.
Favorite is over the knee, I fit pretty well there. Least favorite is anything very revealing, like diaper position or bending over. I like bodily contact.

Do you watch any other spanking models? Do you admire one in particular?
I used to admire Samantha, and would watch hers until I became good friends with her. I still watch them, but not in the same…erm…way. I like to watch Amelia’s stuff for the artistic quality, and a lot of Dallas’ videos and Shadowlane’s. I don’t really watch my own, but I’ve seen a few, and I surprisingly enjoyed them. I think, though, that Rosaleen Young will always be the ultimate star to me, I love all of her videos.

Do you prefer M/F or F/F spankings?
I think I kinda prefer F/F. I like the very maternal aspect of it, and I submit way more easily to women. I do definitely enjoy M/F….and the paternal, Daddy-esque parts of it.

Who is your favorite Spanker?
My favorite spanker is a close personal friend of mine. He just shares my spanking interests to the T. And spankos know that that’s hard to find…there’s always slight variations on our interests…but for me, I have not found a variation yet, besides that he likes the role of top and I of bottom.

Are there any that hit harder then others?
One word. Dallas.

I do have some female readers, can you give any advice to any women thinking about getting into the industry?
Yes. Make absolutely sure you’re okay with the possibility of people you know or family recognizing you, and finding out what you’re doing. It’s happened to me, and it was very touchy. And make sure you can deal professionally with the plethora of men and women who will see you as an ass, and nothing more. (I’m not very good at that, I get pretty uppity).

Do you have any special projects in the works?
Well, in the spring I shot on location around Europe for a Firmhand DVD that should be released…I dinno…..in the Fall? That’s one I can’t wait to see! I also am trying to find time to shoot with Shadowlane!

Has your family and friends been supportive in your movie career?
Very. My dad found out about what I do, and he was supportive, if a bit distant about it. My friends that know about my interest think it’s wicked awesome that I do this sort of thing. They see it as this hidden lifestyle that makes me that much more interesting as a person.

So what’s in the future for you?
Oh, the future. I dinno. I kinda just take things as they come. I’m still in school…I don’t know how much shooting I’ll do. I enjoy it, but my vanilla life is more important to me. So we’ll see…but you can expect to see much more of me on Firmhand as well as, hopefully soon, Shadowlane. And I do show up at many parties and makes lots of friends, so who knows what will happen across my path
